MSO Jr.シリーズは、PCベースのロジックアナライザ・ポッド LogicStudio 16と、小型デジタル・オシロスコープWaveJet 300Aシリーズをパッケージにした製品です。

Windows PCにインストールする専用のソフトウェアは、高速描画をサポートし、ライブ感のある表示を得ることができます。マウスによる直感的な操作が可能で操作はシンプルながら、あらかじめ搭載しているツールを快適に操作することができ、便利で且つ十分な解析ができる環境を実現しています。例えば時間軸カーソル、ズーム機能、パン(縮小表示)機能、重ね描き機能、最大で100個の波形を後で再生できるヒストリ機能など、デジタル回路のデバッグに必要な多くの機能が搭載されています。また、低速シリアル通信I2C、SPI及びUARTのプロトコル解析機能が標準で搭載されています。

低速シリアル通信に対しては、専用のトリガ機能(アドレスやデータ値でのトリガ)も搭載されています。

MSO Jr.シリーズのメリット

  1. 視認性向上
    今日の組込み機器の開発・設計および 製造を通して、アナログ信号とロジッ ク信号を同時に観測する必要性は日増 しに高まっています。一方でオシロス コープの画面は表示上の制約があり、 ロジック信号を同一画面に表示するこ とは、波形の視認性を確保するのが難 しいという課題が常に存在します。 MSO Jr.シリーズは表示部をPCの画 面上に持たせるため、オシロスコープ 単体に比べて十分に大きな表示を持つ ことができるため、エンジニアの作業 性を損なうことがありません。
     
  2. ピンポイントで波形観測
    MSO Jr.シリーズの持つ豊富なトリガ 機能は、組み込み機器の製造、或いは 最終検査の機能試験段階で、このクラ スとしては優れた機能である様々なト リガ機能がその効果を発揮します。 例えばある特定のロジックパターンの シーケンスや、特定のシリアル通信の アドレスで、アナログ信号のレベルを 観測するなどの、ピンポイントで観測 することができるため、狙ったタイミ ングでの波形評価が可能になります。

    MSO Jr.シリーズは、安価でありなが ら充実した基本機能を備えており、オ シロスコープと共に使用することでデ バッグ環境を強力なものに整備し、開 発・設計の早い段階で電子回路の検証 作業を行うツールとして、エンジニア の机上で手軽に活躍できるツールと位 置づけております。
    シリアル・データ・プロトコル・デコード/トリガ機能 I2C、SPIおよびUARTシリアル・デー タ・バスのデコード昨日は、データと クロックに対応したデコード情報を表 示します。また特定のデータ・パター ンやアドレスでトリガをかけて、捕捉 することができるためピンポイントで 波形観測ができます。
