Problem:

How do I save a waveform every time my oscilloscope triggers?

Solution:

Click File and select Save Waveform.

Set the Source, Trace Title, Data Format, and beneath Auto Save, set the destination folder. Click Wrap or Fill to activate the Auto Save feature.

With Wrap or Fill selected, with each trigger event, a new waveform file will be saved. The filename will be automatically incremented by 1.

Wrap will write from 00000 to 99999, and then continue writing, overlapping any existing files.

Fill will write from 00000, or the last file with the same prefix, to 99999, and stop.

The Autosave feature will only write while the Save Waveform menu is displayed.
