Automated Production Testing of USB Type-C and HDMI 2.1 Cables

The RapidWave4000 Production Test Module (T3RW4K-U) for the RapidWave4000 mainframe uses an affordable and interchangeable adapter for different connectors. The T3RW4K-U module is specifi cally designed to meet the needs of high-quality cable production. The module rapidly performs production tests such as continuity, DC Resistance, quiescent current, SVID protocol test and E-marker alt-mode validation, as well as signal integrity insertion loss tests for each high-speed differential pair.

Calibrated, low-cost adapters ensure that your production cable tester is always in line with specifications and allow you to easily interchange cable types and terminations.
In addition, the availability of an industry-first pay-per-test option offers up to a 50 percent reduction in equipment capital costs.
