QPHY2-ASA

The Automotive SerDes Alliance (ASA) is a non-profit industry alliance of automotive technology providers committed to the standardization of asymmetric SerDes technology. ASA Motion Link defines an asymmetric SerDes communication technology for in-vehicle connectivity with line speeds from 2 Gbit/s to 16 Gbit/s and is ideal for the transmission of data from cameras, displays and ADAS systems.
QPHY2-ASA automates the testing and validation of ASA Motion Link based on the latest PMA test specifications. QPHY2-ASA is based on QualiPHY 2 and reduces the time and effort needed to perform compliance, validation, and testing on ASA Motion Link. The QualiPHY 2 test framework products provide the most intuitive and efficient test framework available for performing serial data compliance testing and allow users to perform time consuming analysis tasks offline (outside of the lab) and free the oscilloscope for other uses.

QPHY2

QPHY2-ASA electrical compliance testing of the Physical Media Attachment (PMA) according to the latest ASA specification. Detailed connection diagrams ensure the proper setup and provide information about the required test pattern for each test. Upon completion of the test session, results are automatically compiled into a comprehensive report including screenshots.

Flexible Debug Environment

Using the "Stop on Test" feature, the user can pause testing after each individual test and observe the results. At that point, any of the oscilloscope's tools can be leveraged for further debug and upon completion, testing can be seamlessly resumed with a click of a button.

Flexible Database and Reporting

Use the QualiPHY 2 results database to view results from multiple devices or multiple test runs on a single device. The results database can be filtered to compare results and can be exported to a .csv file for further analysis. Test results can be removed from the tree and re-tested. Once testing is complete, pass/fail compliance reports can be generated with multiple options such as ‘worst’, ‘best’, or ‘last’ results
